The sort of Distribution Company that would sell my magazine would be a company such as Frontline. This is because they sell mainstream products to mainstream shops such as big supermarkets like Tesco’s. They sell them to these places because they know it’s where a lot of their target audience would shop daily and that’s why I have chosen this strategy for my own media product. This distribution method fits perfectly with the brand identity of my magazine as the front cover is showing a new mainstream artist who’s signed by an upcoming mainstream label. My magazine will not be independent and niche.
I will use multi-platform distribution strategies such as advertisement on television and using web 2.0 to gain more profit for my magazine. These chosen strategies will impact the amount sold as advertisement will let my product be known to more people. It will definitely increase the profit.
